Meet The Builders

Deanna Oliveri

Deanna Graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 2014 with a BS in Environmental Science and a minor in Outdoor Education. She has always been passionate about anything that allows her to explore the outdoors. In 2012, she discovered mountain biking, and it was love at first ride. With this, she discovered her passion for trail building, when she was part of a town initiative to create a trail network for multiple user groups. She has been involved in several trail building initiatives, including serving as a board member for the local mountain bike club, CCMBA, as the Trail Planner and Liason. She believes that trail building is just as much of an art as it is a science, and that trails should be as beautiful as they are functional.

Keenan Smith

For Keenan, trail building began as a passion and grew into a career. While working for his bachelors in Environmental science and minor in Outdoor leadership, Keenan learned the basic trail building techniques on the local mountain bike trails. Since graduating college in 2014, Keenan has worked as a volunteer for Columbia County Mountain Bike Alliance (CCMBA) to build and construct multi-use and mountain bike trails in Columbia county. With Pinnacle Trail Design and Construction, Keenan plans to encourage and promote more outdoor recreation through the designing and building of sustainable and fun-to-use trails.
